Meital is the Chair of Meretz Tel Aviv-Jaffa and Deputy Mayor for Transportation and the LGBTQ Community. She has been a member of the municipal council for 20 years and has served as Deputy Mayor for the past 12 years. She is the initiator of the highly successful Moving on the Weekend program, under which the municipality operates an extensive free public transportation network in the city on Shabbat and holidays.
Davey is among the leaders of the economists’ protest and a leading activist in the academic protest movement. He is a senior faculty member at the Coller School of Management at Tel Aviv University.
Noah is a professor at Bar-Ilan University, where he was the founding chair of the interdisciplinary program on Science, Technology and Society. A leading environmental and social activist for more than a decade, Noah heads the Green in the Center (Hayarok Bamerkaz) movement. He served as a member of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipal council from 2008–2011 and is active in the academic protest movement.
Hadas is the CEO of the New Contract (Hozeh Hadash) movement and one of the leaders of the women’s protest movement. Previously, she served as a board member and spokesperson for Bonot Alternativa (Building an Alternative). Her extensive journalistic career included working at Yediot Ahronot, Channel 10 News, Channel 2 News and most recently, serving as editor-in-chief of Haaretz’s website ONLIFE.
Reut is a longtime activist working tirelessly to promote the women’s movement and the LGBTQ community. She was among the founders of the Pink Panthers movement, WDG digital news and the A Room of our Own association. She served as the LGBTQ Strategy Director for the Tel Aviv-Jaffa municipality from 2020–2022.
Roy is among the leaders of Brothers and Sisters in Arms, the reservists’ protest group that instantly deployed its well-organized infrastructure to provide for the needs of Israeli society in the chaotic days after October 7. An architect and an Israel Defense Forces reservist, Roy is married to Dana and the father of three daughters. He is the CEO at Rechter Architects and the co-founder of ReCA, a nonprofit architecture foundation.
BEN HOSHEN
Ben is the chair of Young Meretz, the party’s young adult wing, and one of the leaders of the young people’s protest against the judicial overhaul. He is a student at Haifa University and a passionate activist who focuses on education.
Inbal is among the leaders of the high-tech protest movement. She is the co-director of Canarias / Israel Innovation Partnership and the founder of Woman in Tech, an initiative to promote women's employment in the tech industry. As a researcher at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), she is exploring various ways technology can help solve the ever-growing problem of fake news.
